Review by hotel critic
As a marine biologist with a penchant for the stark beauty of the Nordic countries, I recently visited Continental to analyze the balance between luxury and value. Situated in a prime location across from the National Theater, this beautiful landmark hotel offers a fantastic central city stay. The breakfast was delightful, and the staff was attentive. However, I did notice a recurring issue with the central heating system that left me with dry sinuses and a headache, a problem I encountered even twenty years ago. It seems the renovation failed to address this perennial issue. Despite this setback, the room was spacious and beautifully decorated, offering a comfortable retreat. The staff's exceptional service during a city event blocking access to the hotel demonstrated their dedication. While the hotel's location and service are commendable, the unresolved heating issue may give pause to returning guests seeking a more seamless experience.
